Testing Proper Procedures
The fifth graders conducted a fun science experiment focusing on using proper science procedures. They tested 3 different types of floors to see which one allowed the ball to bounce the highest. The focus was on using proper methods such as keeping all variables but one constant, recording accurate data, and using the equipment properly. It was a bouncing good time!

Mineral Properties
The fifth graders used observation to determine the properties of many minerals. They charted the color, hardness and streak of several minerals to determined ways to classify them. Everyone's favorite mineral was pyrite!
