Never fear.....the Science Fair is here.
I saw this on Facebook and had to share.  I hope your science fair experience will not be like this.  Your student brought home their Science Fair Proposal Form today.  Discuss it with them and make sure to sign the form and return it by Friday.  Happy Science Fairing!

WE WON!!!!

Thanks to your votes, CLS has won 3 Best Choice Awards through Kid’s Directory! We’ve been named as a Best Choice for Preschool, Private & Parochial Elementary and Private & Parochial Middle School/Junior High!!! Additionally, Christ Lutheran Church’s Mothers Day Out program also earned a Best Choice Award! Thank you for your support and tell everyone! The March issue of Kid’s Directory will feature us as winners!

Ringing in the Olympics

Today during Olympic Fun time, the fifth grade learned about the symbolism of the Olympic Rings.  Ask a fifth

grader to tell you the meaning behind the symbol.

Olympic Fun

The fifth grade celebrated the beginning of the Olympics by creating their own Olympic torch - not with real fire (insert disappointed face here!)  We will spend time next week learning about the history of the Olympics and participating in fun activities.  Go Team USA!

New (Returning) Student

The fifth grade class is happy to welcome back Seamus! His family moved away after last year, but now they are back.  We are so glad to have him back in the CLS family!
