End of the Semester DESK CLEAN OUT!

Today we threw out the old in anticipation of the new.....YEAR!  It is amazing the "stuff" that collects in a desk over the course of a semester.

The Giving Tree

Thank you to all the students and parents for donating gifts and money for the giving tree.  You helped make the Christmas of two local foster children blessed!!!

5th Grade Enjoying The Nutcracker

The Fourth and Fifth grades enjoyed a live performance by Ballet Arkansas of Christmas classic "The Nutcracker".  We all agree that is a great way to kick off the holiday season!!!

Fifth Grade: "Model" students

After studying about the different kinds of models scientists use, the Fifth graders used chenille sticks to create three dimensional models of the human body.  Bending, cutting and creating was lots of fun!

School will begin on Wednesday, August 14, 2013.  I can't wait to hear all about your fabulous summer.

The fifth grade completed a short term research project recently using the CLS iPads to conduct internet research Dodo Bird.  They used a minimum of three sources which they cited in their paper.  Many students didn't know much about the Dodo Bird, so they enjoyed learning about them.  They all enjoyed using the iPads.
